Fees Information
The APEAS Fees for the 2010/11 Examination Diet are as follows:
Registration Fee - £265 (to be paid by 31st May 2010)
Examination Fee - £695 (to be paid by 30th September 2010)
Re-sit Examination Fee - £640 (to be paid by 30th September 2010)
It has been agreed to allow candidates to pay fees in instalments if they wish - please see suggested instalment plan below. It is essential that any payments made are clearly identified by your APEAS Registration Number in order that they can be credited to the correct Candidate.
Deferment Fee - (to be paid by 30th September 2010)
Where a candidate has only paid the Registration Fee, he/she will have to pay the Examination Fee applicable at the time of sitting the Part 3 Examination.
Where a candidate has paid both the Registration and Examination Fees the following Deferment Fees will apply:
Deferment prior to Tuesday 5th October 2010 - the candidate will have to pay a reduced Fee the next time he/she decides to sit the Part 3 Examination (for 2010/11 this Fee is £250).
Deferment between Tuesday 5th October 2010 and 2nd November 2010 - the candidate will have to pay half the Examination Fee the next time he/she decides to sit the Part 3 Examination.
Deferment between Wednesday, 3rd November 2010 and Wednesday, 1st December 2010 - the candidate will have to pay the full Examination Fee the next time he/she decides to sit the Part 3 Examination.
Refunds
If you have paid all or part of your fees and decide to withdraw from the exmaination process, it may be possible to obtain a part refund. Please contact Dr Peter Kahan to discuss this.

Further Information if paying by instalments
If you have paid all or part of your Registration and Examination Fees and decide not to sit the Examination, the Deferment rules above apply. If you wish to discuss this at any time, please contact Dr Peter Kahan.
If you wish to defer sitting the examination and notify APEAS prior to Tuesday 5th October 2010 the undernoted rules apply:
If you have fully paid your Registration and Examination Fees, you will be required to pay a Deferment Fee in the year that you decide to sit the Part 3 Examination.
If you have only part paid your Registration and Examination Fees, you will be required to pay a Deferment Fee plus any outstanding amount, including any increase in fees, in the year that you decide to sit the Part 3 Examination.
If you do not notify APEAS of deferment prior to Tuesday 5th October 2010 you should refer to the Deferment Fees Policy.
